"What is life without friends?" asked an on-looker from the audience of a drama show. The answer according to me is NOTHING. When we look at the very famous quotation of JESUS to His Disciples in John 15, "I have not called you My servants, but I have called you friends. For a servant doesn't know what his Master is doing." If GOD considers us His friends, I guess we definitely need friends! Life is simpler.much simpler when we have friends to share it with.

When we look at an individual, we see their family and friends who has molded him/her to be the person he/she is. Like the proverb says -"Bad companions ruin good character". The same goes in reverse, "Good companies improve bad character" provided the former outweighs the later. We all need to surround ourselves with people with either like-minded views or who portray the character we want to see in ourselves.

Friendships play an important role when it comes to every aspect of a life - whether it be, school or college life, office or even family. Actually the kind of friends determines our course of life too! Have you ever had an experience of sharing your secrets - not to a family member, but to your close friend? Now, the solutions that your friends give you at these times, will help you or unfortunately, can even destroy you, provided you give heed to it. It all depends on the quality of friends that you possess in your life.

Now, where exactly do you see yourself 10 to 20 years from where you are? Once you have decided your course of life, the road you travel in will make you to encounter several companions travelling the same path- those are friends. Friends for life.
