hi everyone,

im just bored to death and scared out of my skin coz I am afraid of losing my job. I am employed in a major IT firm in the BPO sector but I find myself unable to be placed in any new or existing project. The reasons ? I was doin transistions ,once the project takes off I take off too. I mean I have to begin with a new one. only this time its 5 months and I havent got anything on my plate. no one wants to take me coz of my paygrade which is slightly on the higher side citing cost cutting and bcoz cheaper labor maybe availble within the company or else fresh recruits.

So wat happens to people like us ? The company is paying our salary, but for how long? this has been giving me sleepless nights. It has affeted my day to day living. Ive lost confidence in myself.

So now I am in a fix. im ready to do any kind of job to remain in the company that has been my home for the last 2 and half years, but nobody wants me. New projects not coming in to bombay, existing projects dont want my grade since it woud cost them more from their revenue that is generated. So where do I stand or others in my position? NOWHERE!

Ive given my loyalty to this company but to me it seems they dont care and it will be very easy for them to get rid of me thereby ruining lives and careers.

one can only hope for a miracle but Miracles are rare and happen to good people only...haha!!
