Ahead of Father's Day, US President Barack Obama and Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan have been chosen as the most admired dads in a new survey.

This survey, conducted by matrimony website Shaadi.com, received over 5500 respondents to find out who the most popular father is.

While Shahrukh Khan, father of three beautiful children, emerged as the country's most popular father with majority votes, Barack Obama topped the list of most popular fathers among other nationalities.

42.5 percent voted for Shahrukh Khan as India's Most Popular Father, followed by the affable master blaster Sachin Tendulkar with 36.9 percent votes and Bollywood's Shahenshah Amitabh Bachchan received 20.6 percent votes.

'Most Admired Dad' from famous fathers of other nationalities was Barack Obama with 40.3 percent votes. American actor, rapper Will Smith made it to the second place(31.4 percent) followed by former football stalwart David Beckham(15.2 percent) and tennis champion Roger Federer.

The camaraderie of Shahrukh Khan and his daughter Suhana was chosen as'India's Most Admired Father-Daughter Relationship' as they got 43.2 percent votes. Succeeding them were Mahesh Bhatt and Alia Bhatt with 27.2 percent, Prakash Padukone and Deepika Padukone(17.2 percent) and Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor(12.3 percent).

The father-son duo Rishi Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor were revered for'India's Most Admired Father-Son Relationship' garnering 33.4 percent votes followed by Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan(31.2 percent), Shah Rukh and Aryan(23.3 percent), and Sunil Gavaskar and Rohan Gavaskar(12.1 percent).
