Annu Kapoor

Annu Kapoor has won the National film award recently for his supporting role in the movie Vicky Donor. We have seen Annu Kapoor anchoring musical shows and hosting the famous Antakshari on the TV. His knowledge about the songs, music-composers and singers is amazing. The movie - Vicky Donor, is based on a taboo subject of sperm donation. Even if the film is related to sex, still there is not 1% of vulgarity or obscenity. The subject of the movie can tickle your funny bone from time to time.

The National award for the role of Dr.Chaddha in the movie Vicky Donor has gave Annu Kapoor the much-awaited national recognition. The role of sexologist Dr Baldev Chadha, as an obsessive-compulsive sperm clinic doctor remained outstanding part of the movie; watch his fingers when he says the word ‘sperm’. His Punjabi accent and his mannerisms are superb. Annu Kapoor with amazing acting skills and knowledge about the subject makes the character of Dr.Chaddha come alive in our minds too.

Annuji’s acting skills are distinctive and the roles he played are remembered for long. In the films like Mandi, Utsav, Arjun, Mr India, Ghayal and even in Saat Khoon Maaf, he shows remarkable acting prowess which is unquestionable.Kamal Hasan

Vishwaroop is one of the much talked movies of 2012. It is the Hindi version of Vishwaroopam – the Tamil movie. There was controversy gripped around the movie before it was released. But after it’s worldwide release the film was highly appreciated for its higher standards of technical brilliance and having international terrorism as its subject. It is a movie which has set the standards high for the action packed scenes which are equivalent to Hollywood action movies.

Best thing about nicely choreographed songs is that the songs are not used for moving the story forward. The movie was a blockbuster and has joined the 200+ crores club worldwide. The critics have upheld the movie as one of the Kamal Hasan’s best movies as a director. The movie is full of classy and powerful actions which keep the audience enthralled.

As they say, versatility thy name is Kamal. He has acted in multi-shade characters with ease. The different get ups, used in the movie while playing different characters are apt and vivacious. In the movie Vishwaroop, Kamal makes us laugh with his feminine character and he delights us with his classical dancing moves and expressive movements

Kamal Hasan has outstanding and sparkling acting career. He had won many awards in various categories in different languages. Kamal has won the National film award three times in the best actor category for his roles in the movies Nayagan and Indian.

Kamal Hasan is considered not just as brilliant actor but as an acting school for the new generation of actors.

Nana Patekar

Ram Gopal Verma is certainly not a name to rely for quality entertainment. But the movie Attack of 26/11 is surely an exception. It is certainly a movie which can get your attention and also it feels your nerves. The movie shows the reckless bloodbath, the rain of bullets which were showered over Mumbai on 26th November ’08. The hardcore reality and the unspeakably aggravated violence grip your mind in every scene. Some people argue about the kind of gory killing shown by the director but for me, I feel RGV compelled the audience to watch these brutal scenes and made us think about the reality which should not be forgotten at any cost.

But the most amazing part of the movie is the role of joint commissioner of police played by Nana Patekar. He showed commendable sternness over his expressions. One can feel the same anguish on his face as it felt us when we had watched the live drama on TV screen five years ago. Nana Patekar rules in every scene of the movie. Every line he utters touches our heart. The scene at the end of the movie, between police commissioner and Kasab in the morgue makes you speechless.

Nana had started his career on the Marathi stage. Some of his movies are Tiranga, Krantiveer, Khamoshi, Kohram, Welcome and many more. He had directed a movie Prahaar, which was based on military training.

Nana Patekar had won National film award for the best actor in the movie Krantiveer and he had also won Filmfare awards in different categories.
