    Yes, I think the car still is worth a lac. However, try to aim for the Euro 3 version, the newer the model the better. The only other car that I can recommend for the lac is the Nano.

    Yes VG, you're right. The Indica definately is a value proposition BUT the quality will never match even the Swift, forget the Fabia.     Dinzaach, I've owned a Palio and an Indica. Trust me when I say that NOTHING beats an Indica for interior space. Nothing. The Fabia doesn't come close but is marginally better than the Swift. Thanks all for your thoughts!

    Srini, In the 2 years we've owned the car, we've never had to wait more than 2-5 minutes to fill up CNG. Never! Wouldn't you rather save thousands a month for that? Reduce pollution?     The CNG Optra has not caused any issues in the rainy season in Bombay. That is a myth that Taxi drivers spread, nothing more. The Optra is the most luxurious vehicle that runs CNG. If your wallet can afford one, I'd recommend it. Otherwise, try the Aveo 1.6 CNG too.

    Ashi, If you are not planning on buying the General Motors kit, please dont go with the CNG option for the car. If GM sells the kits in Delhi, they have to be registered.     It is a myth that CNG reduces engine life. Uneducated Taxiwallas spread this rumor but there has been no evidence of this mentioned anywhere.
