This car is a technological triumph - but in the world of hypercars like the Saleen S7, Koenigsegg CCX, Spyker C8, the Veyron is rather ugly. But that's about the only thing bad about. 1001 Horsepower - and at top speed, it drinks all of the petrol that it can hold - in twelve minutes !!!

Cayman is NOT turbocharged..... and it IS a Boxster with a roof. Why does Porsche charge more for a coupe than for the ragtop ? Because they CAN and get away with it !

Let's see - can't one get a Toyota Landcruiser or Porsche Cayenne-S at this price ? I'd take even a Toyota 4-Runner ahead of a Pajero.

When you pay top dollar for a car - ANY car, you expect solid reliability. In the US, the highest speed limit is on Interstate-5 with 75mph [85mph]. I've driven my car to 120mph [license losing territory], and backed off [the car wanted to go faster...... In stupid Silicon Valley, I average 45mph [despite the crowded freeways].

RX400h is the hybrid version of the RX330. Costs $50K and there is a bunch of them sitting unsold in Lexus lots. Toyota overestimated how much people were willing to pay for Hybrids.....
