Thundering sound? No. @Saptakganguly, I am not aware of any unpleasant sound. The kitchen is in its 7th year now. I am pretty satisfied with the decision of taking metal cabinets. No rusting observed either. It seems there was pretty good water-proof coating on the metal cabinets.

I live in Bangalore. Looking for dishwasher. Croma stores tell me that they have only SMS40E32EU model (which looks like the lowest model). I am confused about proceeding forward.

@gargvishal, What model of bosch dishwasher did you buy? Was it SMS4052ES? Is the machine behaving properly now? I need to buy a dishwasher but confused about what should I buy. I was thinking of Bosch (god knows why) but your review is making me double think? Which city are you living in?

To Rkamal: Regarding customizable boxes At the time I took the kitchen (2008, Diwali timeframe), they did not have the capability of customizing boxes. So if your counter is too low, you may not be able to fit the standard size cabinets (provided godrej has not changed their offering)

To abirami_sanjay regarding steel quality @abirami_sanjay, The steel frame has got a water repellant coating which is working beautifully for me till now. My kitchen is now 3.5 years old. In my water-purifier unit, I spill water daily on the steel body. It has not rusted yet.

Shutters @ balajirajahpb, I believe steel shutter will be most durable and robust. Whether it looks good is a very subjective matter and I won't comment on that.

Dell customer care is pathetic. My friend had similar experience. He ordered a laptop. Got it by courier. The LCD was cracked. This, though unfortunate, was acceptable. What was heart breaking was the fact that my friend had to run for almost a month to get a replacement.
