I agree that this problem is not unique to StanC alone. Credit card issuers, irrespective of class/creed, resort to such cheap tactics to fleece the customers. But putting a gun to your temple when you need a loan...SCB has perfected that technique.

Unfortunately, Standard Chartered Credit Cards team has a perpetual name in the market for being the most inefficient and unresponsive team, like all their other products. Being an ex employee, I can tell you with certainty that your case is not an isolated one. The bank is known for its atrocious service to customers. In fact, the problem is a very deep rooted one.
