LIFE IS SHORT - Enjoy while you can.
Admitting you’re wrong is a modest way of showing you’ve grown a little wiser.
Thinking is hard work.
Reading without thinking is like eating without digesting.
There’s plenty of room at the top, but there’s no room to sit down.
A vacation should be just long enough for the boss to miss you, and not long enough for him to discover how well he can get along without you.
It doesn’t matter whether you can be proud of your ancestors; what matters is if they can be proud of you.
Ships are safer in the harbour, but they are not meant for that purpose.
Every stone can be a stepping stone.
Ideas, like time and tide, wait for no one.
Of all the things you wear your expression is the most important.
Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain- and most fools do.
Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.
There is no right way to do something wrong.
