Corbett Riverside Resort Located in the foothills of the Himalayas, the Corbett National Park is host to the largest population of tigers in the Asian Continent. This picturesque Corbett Riverside Resort, which spreads over 21 acres, enjoys a kilometer of the Kosi riverfront. Cliffs and the Sitabani Forest on one side and Corbett National Park are on the other side. It used to be a popular game-hunting destination in the days of the British Raj. The Corbett Riverside Resort organizes day treks into the forest. For the more adventurous a separate trek to Bethalghat and Ramgarh for appreciating flora and fauna. Horse safaris are also available including a special three to seven day horse safari. Ours is an exclusive property perched right on the rivers edge. We offer various room categories with a breathtaking view of the river and adjoining forest. Furthermore, we offer our guests, amidst relaxing landscaped gardens, refreshing activities like horse riding, river rafting during monsoons, fishing, Jeep/ canter/ elephant safaris, trekking etc, all at nominal costs. The resort comprises of 2 Presidential suites (2 bedrooms each); 4 Tiger’s Den Cottage suites; 30 DBL suites and 11 Standard DBL rooms. The resort offers its guests private bonfires; in fact most of the Riverfront and some other suites have inbuilt fireplace (material chargeable) to ensure the guests are warm and cozy on chilly evenings. “Rivers Edge Restaurant” and “Watering Hole”, as the names suggest, are located on the edge of the river and offer all cuisines like Indian, Chinese and Continental buffets. Don’t forget to enjoy our night bar-be-que! Hammocks are laid out all over the resort and on the riverbanks as well. The resort is also an ideal location for corporate training and team building activities. The resorts warm hospitality combined with its modern comforts compliment the scenic surroundings. Every moment at Riverside Resort is a wonderful experience; however Christmas and New Year’s Eve is truly memorable with entertainment and delicious food.
