Some possible issues encountered at 4100 ODO : 1. At strong acceleration at higher revs (6K +) and at lower speeds, some wind slapping sound from engine. No Difference in performance though. Hey mate, The pain on throttle palm is something that I have experienced before 1st service. You have to get a thicker rubber grip (rs. 50 SC) to eliminate this pain. A small update: I have taken a 160km ride alternatively on my GS and friends new Fazer (Its really an FZ16). Surprisingly i found GS to be better sort of tourer than the Fazer, which is meant to be a touring bike. i definitely feel, a good front fairing on the GS, with better lamps and backrest, w read more...

This rusting issue seems highly worrying. Having owned a GS with 3800 odo, the only rust I do have is at the tank mouth. Apart from rust, everything else stated as negative here is pure nonsense. Hey IIyasmd, The negatives are negatives for you. I found them extremely useful. The gear shifter is very good. I do use toe shifter with shoes and heel shifter with sandals and rainy days.
