I agree, for sure if you are looking at value for money go for honda city, fiesta, swift, dezire even verna and so on. - See overdrive/autocar/.. reviews for all VW group cars (VW,Skoda, Audi) - all of them are overpriced compared to peers, but they do not match Germans.

I feel the price is because of imported parts. Clearly it is not for the person looking for value for money, he will definitely go for swift or other sedans like desire or fiesta.
