@Route66, Yes. You are right about Ford design. Their cars are more functional than being flashy. To me the Ford Fiesta still appeals good than many other sedans. Moreover, Ford I believe has not manufactured reactive products -- Like for instance, the Fiesta was in development from scratch to sui read more...

I am not an expert...but I believe the modern age diesels dont require anything other than the scheduld maintenance services. Please do check with some experts on this field as well. Regarding the petrol and diesel cost comparison on an EMI and monthly running cost basis, I didnt also know abo read more...

Sorry about Chevy Beat. I saw the car and thought it was a coupe version in a hatchback. My friend clarified this last week itself. Since it was a petrol car, I didn't look into much details about it.

The Maruti showroom gave me a RITZ to test drive saying that it has the same engine as Swift. And Ritz has European design. The Ritz is a tall boy model and for me with my height, when I drove the car, had some serious pain the foot when I had to use the clutch. Not sure what was wrong here but the read more...

Regarding Ford, its a welcome move to stop the confusing Fusion (same goes with Chevy for stopping SRV which I never saw on the roads) which was in no position to compete in the small car segment. @AskIyengar, When did Power windows take precedence over Rear Legroom for a small family car? Haven't the basic models of all small cars and also the 2nd level variant had only scroll down windows? This shameless Maruti does not have a top end variant in their diesel cars.
