If your monthly usage is less than 1000 KM. Just go for a petrol car. The diesel cars are costlier than its petrol counterparts. So it will only pay off if you run the car for more than 1500 KM that too after some 5 years. Resale value is obviously higher than petrol cars. But the initial cost read more...

Aegon Religare may have less Premium amount. But it has one of the worst Claim Settlement Ratios ( only 66%, as per IRDA ). This means only 66 out of 100 people get the money. You forgot to include the Insurance Prices as well which will be higher for Diesel Car as its cost is high. It will add some 20K extra for 5 years.
