Hello and a warm welcome to my humble MouthShut.com profile. Although I have just one posting here, I am not a newbie. I am Mobiprof, one of the most respected members of that other site, epinions.com. With the posting of ''MouthTalk: the unofficial MouthShut.com Dictionary'' I have now expanded ''EpinionTalk: The Unofficial Epinions.com Dictionary (ET:UNED)'' into a a cross-site series. The 8000 character maximum (according to Word it is even less...) proved to be a real problem. I cannot post the whole text and cannot post in parts either, as MS allows just one post per topic, including editorial topics. This limits the possibility to have the unofficial MouthTalk dictionary on MouthShut itself. I have requested that the maximum length be lifted. I hope they will lift this silly length restriction soon, so that I have room to expand and revise the text, and include the acronyms and abbreviation in the text itself. Meanwhile, please do email me with addtions, corrections and amplifications. 'Perhaps a little more personal information added' Personal information - in a dictionary? You must be pulling my leg. Ouch! That hurts. The 8000 char maximum, combined with the limit of just post per topic seriously limits the possibility to have the MouthTalk dictionary on MouthShut itself. read more...
