I am a regular joe , with an irregular dispostion towards a lot of things... among others..attention spans. Used to be an avid reader, not so much nowadays., and restrict myself to the visual media to get my dose of culture, information and porn ;) With mouthshut, i hope to renew acquaintance with my forgotten literary ties, and add my ten cents to a issues ranging from movies,music, politics, philosophy and sport. Thanks for reading so far and hopefully i havent discouraged you enough to keep you from coming back. . Sports - cricket(my passion), american football, cheerleader spotting, soccer..the list goes on.. Politics-mostly american, condoleeza rice is my favourite kind of rice. Music- mostly classic rock, though i do indulge in my fair share of hip-hop. Movies- love mindless, irreverent , over the top movies - quentin tarantino sums up my tastes.

Hi Aditi, Let me start off by saying that ur writing skills and insight is leagues above the ordinary and this is one of the best reviews i have read, if not the best - proffesional and otherwise. Also, I havent seen the movie but ur main grouse against the movie seemed to be that it is overly me read more...
another great review... talk abt stylized prose and you are not far behind..maybe u would give us a chance to review one of your books real soon.. I would definitely love a chance to get my hands on the book..definitely not one for the holiday spirt i suppose.. Gr8 job..keep writing... and try to read more...

Dude!! did u watch the same movie i watched (rather, attempted to endure). This movie is right up there with the senseless tear-jerkers bollywood churns out by the million, where there is no shred of reality clinging to any of the scenes. Excellent review!! u summed it up pretty nicely with the Tom Hanks comment. This is probably the only book i have ever read page to page without stopping to stuff my face (which is quite an accomplishment for me).Great job in describing the plot and great insight about the book. wish the world could be more simpler and each person would carry a signboard indicating present disposition, current fancy and desired gift.
