sorry the bike gives only 70 and not 90 kmpl. i think my bike has a faulty fuel gauge. but 1 thing i have observed is that the mileage does increase considerably from 62kmpl to 70 kmpl when i filled the tank from 1/2 way up. never let your tank go below the 1/2 way level because petrol vapourize read more...
idling is the most important factor for good mileage. set the idling to the least value possible(star city does not have an rpm meter unfortunately), by operating on the idling screw above the engine. if mileage doesn't improve go to a TVS show room to rectify the problem
yes i figured out that the hi mileage is due to the carburator. i don't think i want to trade mileage for that extra kick. thanx again
