Club mahindra may be technically right. Their rooms are superb. Only someone equivalent of IIM graduate can book a room. Buyer beware

Another problem I have faced is the stepmotherly from places hired by CM (not owned by CM), we stayed in alleppey where we were told that we would be charged Rs 100 for an empty bowl in the room!

You are perfectly right. Even irctc is transparent. It tells you how available etc. You book four months in advance and if you cancel within seven days you lose all. Today so many places you get good accommodation for Rs 1000

An important point with CM is that they dont or refuse to understand the people. For example many young as well as old are health conscious and they like PHULKA and IDLY as part of their food .
