The backlit problem is present in my bike too. All we can do is shut off the engine and turn ignition off and then back to on. I spoke to Bajaj guys, they also dont know anything about it. I really hope Bajaj soon starts keeping an electrician in thier service senters :)

I will tell you one thing, top speed depends a lot on your driving style and less on the bike. Even a P180 can be made to go 125.......... It somewhat depends on how you change your gears so as to provide maximum power to the engine on each gear change. Also a plain stretch of road is a must ;-)

On a plain stretch I reached a max of 124. But once on a slopish road, I was able to attain 130. I was crouching on the tank to minimize the air friction.

Yeah man! you are right. But I liked Spark too much as compared to its competition. So I decided to go for it irrespective of market conditions. Even I am hoping for the same.

Hey Akash, You can always adjust the headlight beam. Just go to pro-biking and tell them your issue. My P200 also had the same problem, got it rectified in a minute as you just need to cahnge the setting of a screw.

Actually even I was surprised by the figure of 48. But I counted the mileage from reserve to reserve and many a times it reflects only an approximate value.
