Very good review, Miss Tina. It's great to have such a girly-girl perspective of an action movie. I haven't seen Dum yet but I trust that it's not that good. Prasad: Yes, indeed. Ringo Lam directed 'City on Fire' in 1987. In 1992, Quintin Tarantino adapted it to his 'Reservoir Dogs'. They were both very small films unlike the very glossy 'Kaante'. I agree. Hype and sheep mentality have always been the safety crutch of a so-so movies like this one. 'Kaante' was not a bad film, it's just not an honest film.

That you should focus soley on the glamour rather than the plot. I found Malaika to be quite hot, too but the dance numbers were misplaced. And one would have sufficed, not three.
