Celine Dion is out with her new album A New Day Has Come, after her timeless My Heart will go on, rated by Smash! magazine as one of the top ten albums of 2002. The album has a great diversity, from the relaxing go-to-sleep songs to the energetic get-up-and-go ones. The album sheds light on Celines versetility and her ability to change her style drammatically. Some songs such as Sorry for Love dont even sound like hers! The main highlight of the album is the title song A New Day Has Come, a touchy song that that brought tears to my eyes by the way she says Hush! I see a light in your eyes. But the song loses its touch and emotions after youve listened to it it a few times. The album sets stage with the totally addictive Im alive, featured in Stuart Little 2, it is on of those songs which you cant help singing in the bathroom. The album proceeds with the passionate Right in front of me, the romantic Have you ever been in love?, the peculiar Its inevitable, going on towards the better-than-original A new day has come radio mix. Ten days is a song which reminds one of the days of wild wild west. Sorry for the love and When the wrong one loves you right are two songs that add colour and life to the album with their dramatic lyrics, groovy beats and scintillating tunes, that tune you to full mood! Super love has quite useless lyrics but the catchy beat, music and style automatically attracting you towards it. The Greatest reward is very close to life and you would surely sway with it. On the downside, some of the tracks are pretty worthless and arent worth listening to. At last, a song for which Celine recieved a great applause in her concert was absolutely horrible, her voice sounded like as if she was drunk! Nature Boy, a song claimed by Celine as having a great message was packed with sheer boredome. Although I found a message in it, which was Please dont waste your time on this song. Overall, the album deserves 5 out of 5 and I would recommend it as being the must-have album and I hope It would enjoy an important place in your media library.
