Hello all I would like to share my personal opinion on obtaining ACT broadband to access my cctv cameras at home online as I will be travelling out of station often, I was hearing some good reviews and the good connection speed about ACT at my work place and I was waiting to avail the connection but unfortunately their service was not at our place 2 years ago. There was no option for me so obtained a connection from a local fiber net but his service was so poor and without any option I was using it for 6 to 7 months, recently heard a news that the company is no more in the market so planned for another internet service provider and then I came to know is ACT is providing services and called the immediately and asked for a connection in a quick process, they agreed and it was saturday also I was out of station, no one not a single person explained about their process they want me to upload kyc online, send someone to collect the photos at home and pay the rental in advance. Every process was done within an hour without fail and promised that it will be activated, you dont belive the next day that is sunday for the whole day I was following then for the connection and it didn’t get activated the person whom I was contacting frequently was lied that it will be activated in 1 hour, 10 min at one stage by 8.00 pm he switched off his mobile and the engineer who did wiring told me that an sms with a number will be sent to your mobile just give me a call after receiving the msg, I received a msg by 9.45 pm with number saying that your router configuration required to activate connection. See how bad they’re giving service to us they want their process to be done within an hour and they won’t give us service on commited date and time.
