I am a tenant in an independent house at Adyar Chennai. I subscribed for ACT services and at the time of installation they wanted to install a junction box. I had informed ACT that I was not the owner( who was in the US at the time). I was promised that the box was temporary and it would be removed. The landlords are two old ladies aged 80+ and dread strangers. I had informed ACT that in the event there were issues with service to give a call and then attend to complaint. Several times at unusual hours they barged into the premise without informing. Ultimately I was served a notice by the owners to move out. I had written several mails to ACT to move the junction box and even after 3 months no attempt had been made. There are 8 connections originating from the box and the cables have been run in an unruly manner which the landlord feels disfigured the elevation of her house.
3 MONTHS since I complained and ACT sleeps peacefully . the landlord wants to snap the lines in her premise as she feels she is under no obligation which is going to inconvenience 8 customers’ service .
