Airtel failed to provide the user manual for the wireless router(zyxel). Packaging & CD’s were never brought during installation. Do they dump’refurbished’ material?
*How can you digest an electronic equipment - that too a router - to be shipped with a manual?*
Support engineer is not aware that the router has features for URL blocking(prevent access to certain web sites) and was not willing to escalate the call.
How the senior know that the junior level guy doesn’t have this knowledge.
Even after telling this Jr. to see for himself on google with the search words’url filtering in zyxel wireless router’ - he repeats like a parrot -’That feature is not supported by airtel. There are no seniors available to escalate the call. We don’t give user manuals to customers’.
Sorry state of affairs at Airtel. Looks like they pick up 10th std & 12std guys and put them as’Customer Support Engineers’.
