Hi guys, there is one secret that I want to tell you about Wind 125. Everybody used to think that Wind 125 looks like Caliber 115, but.......reality is that Caliber 115 looks like Wind 125!!! Confused??? Ok I will make you understand.
Wind 125 was designed some two years ago, but Bajaj did not had much market share in this segment, in this situation if they launch Wind 125 then they would have lose a wonderful bike due to poor image in this segment. In order to launch Wind 125 they must have another bike that can compete Hero Honda Passion, so that Wind can compete with Ambition. Mr. Rajiv Bajaj ordered their team to make a bike which is just a update version of their ever successful bike, Caliber. But he wanted that bike for just a little bit of extra cost, and as early as possible. Bajaj engineer just merged Caliber and Wind 125, and made another hero i.e. Caliber 115. An indigenous product.
They launched Caliber 115 just before Wind 125 and that bike did just what Bajaj needed, increased market share in very short time. Now its time for Wind 125, the strategy worked and they launched bike from one step up.
About Wind 125, the bike is indigenous. A wonderful product, that has power and economy together. People compare bike with mileage, that is not the right thing. If there is power there will be less mileage and if there is mileage there is loss of power.
