Well, well. the movie poster with only the lips and chin was released Tuesday May 26. And the full face poster was released May 27. But the best happened today Thursday May 28 with the teaser of 01:33 duration being out now online on YouTube.(https://youtu.be/UAElM3oymd0). Remember, this is not a trailer but a long teaser that only increases the hunger. This actually acts like an appetizer.
I’ve already watched it five times. and will go ahead with many more times till the trailer and the movie are out. this teaser does not fulfill movie level but has only increased the expectations till the movie’s release(July 17). This is some consolation.
Let’s begin with the beginning. A dark scenario unfolds. A train is speeding away, expectedly towards Pakistan border. A little girl runs along with it but is no match for it. The train crosses Indian border and enters Wagah. After its entry, the doors from both sides are locked. And so is the fate of the girl to reach Pakistan to her parents. Tears roll down the cute mute kid’s face. And so does on the viewer’s face.
The message on the screen reads: "A little girl from Pakistan.Lost in India.Without her voice.Finds a man with a heart.To take her home.This EID." The kid cannot speak. But help is near. She reaches where Bajrangi is dancing merrily as only he can. The title song is gustily being played out against the colorful Holi celebrations.
Bajrangi’s voice rings out, "I’m Bajrang Bali’s follower. I will die but never lie." The silver gada pedant looms large. The Hanuman bhakt sets the mood. A charming Kareena Kapoor is watching the celebrations from the balcony above, with Bajrangi calling her down. And Bajrangi sees the lost girl wander in at the venue.
In the meanwhile, the girl is kidnapped and is with the madam. Bajrangi reaches there and rescues the girl with lightening fight scene, where the goon is left hanging on the electrical wires. Bajrangi vows to take the girl back to her parents in Pakistan. Camels too are employed for the journey. With colorful trucks and border residents, Bajrangi dances his zany self and pursues a radiant Kareena.
Bajrangi is shown lying at the back of the open truck along with the girl and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Both men are later shown dangling the girl by her arms walking down a slope. They have reached Pakistan. And an old man is seen driving a scooter with the girl by the side and Bajrangi in a burqa in the attached seat. He is shown praying for his safety in a precarious scooter seat.
The best scene comes now in an open truck where Bajrangi and Nawaz are lying on their stomachs with the kid seated behind. Bajrangi says, "Bajrang Bali will help me." Nawaz asks in wonder, "Even in Pakistan!"(As if Gods too are barred by border and are not omnipresent.) This simple query leaves Bajrangi mulling over the piquant situation. The teaser ends with the promise of "Trailer Next". The scene merges in the girl being followed by Bajrangi and shown climbing a steep hill.
Thank God! They promised the trailer or I’d personally find out about it. One can survive till the trailer releases. The teaser is filling the cockles of innumerable fans’ hearts considering the number of hits on the teaser. I for one am watching the intense deep-set eyes of Salman Khan that are gazing down our souls. With a stubbled look and a leaner face, he is amazingly growing younger and dasher by each appearance. The celebrations have begun 1-1/2 months earlier.
Don’t worry Sallu! We will be there first day first show. It can never be any other way. But Sallu, you have tough competition.from the kid. Wonder who is she? Expect a 500+cr and above business. Nothing less seems feasible.
