I have been using bigflix (In Bangalore ) for more than 10 months now, and before that used seventymm.
Well, I can say that BigFlix is the better of the two. The basic thinbgs aboutBigFlix works perfectly. That is, you see the movie, order a new one and get it home delivered. The disk quality is Good. only once did I face a problem when their delivery boy went onstrike. Other than that, its smooth sailing. (the same cannot be said about seventymm)
Now, there is another measure of how a service is, its how fast they refundyour deposit. Here Big flix really surprised me. I cancelled their serviceonce. They called me within a week of cancelling and geve me the tracking id ofthe courier with deposit check refund.
Compare that with seventymm where it took 1 and half months and several phonecalls and emails to get my refund back. Professionalism counts.So is BigFlix without issues? Not at all. Most high demand movies are often of stock.However, I follow their advice of keeping at least 25 movies in my queue, and I always get something in time.So, basically, BixFlix is your best choice in the Indian scenario now.
BIGFlix is Good for you if :
You are OK to maintain 20-25 movies in your queue and get one of them delivered, but have little control on which movie will be delivered to you ( you queue is just a preference order, but you shall get movies according to availability)
DO NOT CONSIDER BIGFLIX IF:
You want to see PARTICULAR Movie on a Given night. It is not a traditional store where you go, pick and choose a moive, and watch it in the night. No. A movie from your wish list will be delivered, but you cannot say which one. If you are not in home most of the time, and want the delivery boy to come at a particular time
