Chak de movie was seen by me itoday after all my family and friends told me to go for it, and it indeed is an excellent movie. Truly motivational especially for youngsters and those who never took sports seriously, It is a story of a hockey player who was defamed and dishonoured but bounces back 7 years later as a coach to a team of 16 girls, Hockey as a sport is never taken seriously in india which is a good thing highlighted in the movie. well this coach trains the players of different states and backgrounds and makes them ready for the world cup hockey championship... Like all hindi movies the movie satisfies our patriotic hungry hearts when these girls win the WORLD tournament. The movie is a visual treat but.....but....but................ yes there are some buts from me
1) Shahrukh is shown unneccesarily too harsh in the initial training and becomes a softie later when he reappoints himself as the coach
2) After the world cup victory there is no acknowledgement or a tete-a-tete of girls with shahrukh
3)Shahrukh goes straight to his hometown after the victory, Ok understood that he wanted to show his people back there that he is not a "GADDAR" as inscribed on the wall but he could have basked in the success a few days more.
4) The girls should have had more conversation and there should have been some funny tidbits and some serious issues highlighted of every girl for atleast a minute (like of some girls).
5)Bindia the arrogant girl throughout the movie should have apologised to Shahrukh Khan for her bad behavior which never happens till the end.
Though these are some small points which should have been corrected, still it is a great movie to watch out for especially the girls PREETI SABARWAL and KOMAL CHAUTALA, KOMAL is actually a hockey player turned actress and she acts awesome. Btw I had this question in mind and wanna know from you guys, well is BINDIA the same girl called ANNIE in the sony soap "YEH MERI LIFE HAI" coz she resembles her a lot.
