Thank god I saw it in a multiplex...

Thank god I saw this film in a multiplex... at least the seat was comfortable and I could doze off.

On the way to the airport in Kolkata, had time to kill before the flight and unfortunately (as it turned out), this was the only film scheduled at that time. If I had known better, I would have gone to the airport and eaten some real Chocolate.

So I had Irfann Khan and Anil Kapoor (less said about the female cast members the better) trying to interest me in a movie that was hell-bent on sending me to sleep. Which I did when I finally gave up deciphering what was happening on screen. I just could not get myself interested in the characters or the plot, however slick the film was looking.

I kept waking up a few times at some particular loud noise on screen, but drifted off again after I failed to make out what was going on.

Woke up towards the end where there was some major Mission Impossible type robbery happening in Switzerland??? or was it the Mumbai-Pune expressway?

Anyway, will someone please tell the director that if he makes so much noise his fight with the censors about retaining the word ’tequila’ in a song (which is supposed to be his tribute to ’Cabaret’), he should also be as passionate about an important scene in the film and should not have HAND PAINTED signs on a van saying Royal Bank of England!! I could not believe my eyes at the amateurishness of that scene!!!

With crores spent on shooting abroad, with so much attention to songs, how can something like this happen?

Well maybe that is Hindi films...
