’’Commenting a Review’’
That?s a cute topic ! Now that there are 100s (1000s???) of MS members showing keen interest in writing reviews on various consumer products, MS keeps successfully accomplishing the substantial and appreciable task of presenting reviews of the various brands available in the market, thereby helping the surfers to choose the right product / brand, well suited to each person?s requirements based on the merits and demerits furnished by the reviewers.
Well, it?s really amazing that even the beginners take great care in making their reviews very informative. MS members? reviews which contains the basic information and the exact configurations of any specific product followed by the usage of the product under consideration and then describing their personal experiences or the experience of the persons known to them would make their reviews more valuable & attractive. Only these reviews obtain better ratings too.
MS members prepared to write reviews should first of all make their writing style very clear, understandable and explicable and it is important that they make sure that the paragraphs and sentences are cohesive and consistent, not making it too long or too short.
Why am I discussing about writing a review while the subject is ?Commenting a Review?. There is a connectivity & here I am going ahead with the REVIEW. Any comment is primarily based on a Review. If the Review itself is not admirable and contains insignificant & irrelevant information and has been presented in an elaborate but non-categorical way, it can never magnetize readers to write a comment.
Now, here are some ways which I think would be a little useful to members who furnish their comments on Reviews. Your comments ought to contain your remarks about :
Did the writer adequately summarize / discuss the specified Topic ?
Did the writer comprehensively cover the appropriate specifications of the product under consideration ?
Has he correctly described the qualities of the product or has he given misinformation?
Did he use a good grammar throughout the Review or what?s ur opinion about his language usage?
Was his writing style clear or do you feel that he could improvise his style of writing in future for better-understanding of his presentation ?
Did he use suitable subheadings well to clarify the sections of the body of the text ?
Was his review in a way that was logical, clear, easy to follow ?
Did the review really guide you in making a decision about going in for the product or has it only confused you furthermore ?
Has the experiences provided by the writer relevant to the subject or not ?
10.Mainly, has the writer performed Plagiarism, which is against the Rules of Mouthshut?
Just commenting as ?Cute Review? or ?Nice Review? or ?Thanx for the valuable and informative Review? just doesn?t solve the purpose of really writing a COMMENT. The comments written on any review should help the writer to improvise his writing.
Every MS member rating a review should certainly come forward to also furnish a few valuable comments on the review.
13.What is your over-all opinion about the review ?
- If possible, for a good writer, please render words in a more encouraging way, which would undoubtedly give confidence to the writer to write more and more.
I hope that the above points would have been a little helpful to the MS members who are now getting ready to write a COMMENT on a Review.
