My daughter took admission through COMEDK entrance in biotech as out station candidate. There was a lot of hope and expectation about this college and its standard as recently it got autonomous status from VTU. But it is very disappointing to see its pathetic standard and campus politics. Dr. Kiran is official HOD of Biotech, but he has delegated all powers to a lady Dr. Rajeswari who call the shot. But this lady is too crooked and partial towards her Kanadiga origin. One Kanadiga girl was in competition with my daughter in the batch and Rajeswari in every semester will give extra marks in theory and practical to that girl to help secure rank. Even she has marked numbers in wrong answer to that girl. Openly this lady humiliated my daughter for her out of Karnataka origin. We have paid huge fees compared to Kanadiga students, still received 2nd class treatment from Rajeswari and the college staffs. This college doesn’t deserve to be given autonomous status. No outstation students should take admission in this college.
