Wade Wilson or DEADPOOL(Ryan Reynolds, 39) is a mercenary in New York City, who protects girls from stalkers. He likes and later proposes to Vanessa Carlysle(Morena Baccarin, 37) at a bar. When he is diagnosed with cancer, a secret program recruiter(Jed Rees, 45) offers him a cure, He agrees and is injected with a serum by Francis Freeman l Ajax(Ed Skrein, 32) and tortured by Angel Dust(Gina Carano, 32). This disfigures his face and skin.
Wade lives with a blind woman Al, (Leslie Uggams, 72). At his best friend Weasel’s(TJ Miller, 34) advise, he becomes a masked vigilante DEADPOOL. He tracks down Francis and confronts him. They meet X-Men Colossus(Stefan Kapicic, 37) and Negasonic Teenage Warhead(Brianna Hildebrand, 19). In the melee, Francis escapes.
Vanessa is kidnapped, and Francis and Angel Dust tell Wade to meet them. Deadpool asks Colossus and Negasonic to help him. They fight with Francis, who says there is no cure for Wade’s disfigurement. Wade kills Francis. Deadpool removes his mask and shows Vanessa his new face. They are happy together.
DEADPOOL is raising spirits this long weekend. Marvel is minting money and is alive with action just in time for love and family. Long live the superhero. An extension of Bollywood revenge drama like MR X(2015) of Emraan Hashmi. Vancouver BC Canada looks awesome. Another reason to watch it. There is an Indian connection as well. Indo-American actor Karan Soni plays the character Dopinder, a cab driver. The fans can look forward to the next 9th sequel involving Cable. Oh, that’ll keep the cash registers ringing in the future too. Be prepared.
The action is deadly and exciting. And the comedy is crackling. There are 23 tracks and most are likely to be on the Billboard top 10 list. Well, this holiday weekend make a beeline to the theaters. Hindi movies are highly disappointing so why not this. Worth every penny spent on it.
