I’ve been away from India, the past three years and I’ve had to content myself with just following the scores. I missed reading the interesting articles and analyses, that I spent hours on, when I was in India. Still that was life or so I thought till I stumbled onto cricinfo.com.
The Ashes series have always interested me and being an England fan, I was looking for a good site with all the info, and this was when I really got hooked onto cricinfo.com.
Geez!the site had everything.I have been a big England fan, since 1992 and unfortunately had never much cause to celebrate it. Now that the England team seemed really promising this time round, I was literally prowling all over the net, hungrily looking for a site with all the info abt the series. And My Oh My! Didn’t I get it on cricinfo!
the site has a live scoreboard, ...for starters.
the feature content section is quite good.
Ofcourse like any other good cricket site, they’ve got series stats, history and records, but what I like the best is that you don’t have to search all the while for it.The site’s well organised.
the picture gallery is COOL!!!I think seeing the fotos bring me the closest to seeing the actual matches.
But the reasons the site has become my favourite is:
1)there are numerous interesting quotes..I especially loved the Quotes..Unquotes related to Ashes..some of the comments were hilarious.
2) I love Stephen..The Ask Stephen column rocks.
3)Stern words is quite interesting too.
4)Rewind to is another interesting column...
Guess I’m getting into eulogising the site..but I can’t keep gushing over it. I mean, if you are a CRICKET FANATIC, don’t give the site a miss.
