Today I , as ill luck would have, it visited the MORE(Trinethra Super Retail, vijayanagar and to no surprise this visit proved my worst expectations.Lots of staff pretending to be busy each with a price list I n hand and only one counter functioning, manned(!)by a girl, who is unfamiliar with the price or the operation and none to give a helping hand.
Even though a handful of customers were there, they have to stand in que and wait till eternity since each billing takes a minimum of 20 mts even for two items. No person was there to pack the items and the cashier had to call for help seeing the uneasiness of he customers.When my tern came after about 45minutes and my bill #001424 dated 08.04.09 time 13.23 amounting to Rs.183 and surprise !on this bill I have saved rs.80-42.Quite substantial saving, this considering there is a recession.When I reached home I found a packet of biscuits , included in the bill is missing.I called up the #080-41496035 mentioned in the bill, but I was asked to contact the Airtel customer relations about this number,
First the saving they proudly proclaim is bull.Customers, be warned to check that all the items u have purchased are properly packed.Since my purchase amounted to only rs.8 after discount, I took this as a lesson never to visit the store again.I had a very bad experience with this store in my neighborhood and we avoid them, but thought the vijayanagar store will be better managed.
Please avoid any branch of MORE since the condition will more or less will be the same.There is no dearth of departmental stores in Bangalore.
