One should expect the movie is all about a very good love story after watching its trailer and knowing that it based on the novel GREAT EXPECTATION, But after leaving the hall I am very much confused by the story. The best part of the movie is its songs. The deep attraction of Noor towards Firdaus starts at a very young age in kashmir. Begam(Tabu) noticed that and disapproved Noor’s affection or love towards Firdaus due to his poor standards and sends Firdaus abroad for study.
After a long time Noor got a scholarship due to his artistic nature and came to delhi, where he again meets with firdaus, and again they gets closer. But begam wants Firdaus to marry with a Pakistani diplomatant bilal. Begam doing all this because at younger age he left heartbroken by her love. This is the story of the movie in short. The acting of Tabu is good as usual, other than her any one not good or not worthy enough. Although the confusing story and the suspense keeps you in the hall till the end, actually a good story with lot of confusion. Everyone can watch the movie with anyone. Good movie for one time watch and for time pass, thats all.
