So many and not enough time

I used to get dozens of magazines a month and never had time to read them all so would stash them away for some day when I had time. Once a year or so I would go through them all and give most of them away. I do wish there were more hours in a day as I simply love new ideas, tips and so on.

I do not subscribe to any at the moment. I just pick up what I see when I see it.

I love writers digest which of course has markets where you can sell your materials, some great articles on improving your writing and they have a book club that is great.

They also put out a hard cover book every year with writings by category, who pays what and how many words are needed and all that. If you are serious about writing I would start with this magazine.

Nashville now is a great magazine if you like country music to find out where your favorites are going to be in concert, lyrics to new songs, where to sell songs and all kinds of pictures and articles on the recording artists.

Angels on earth is a heart warming spiritual magazine with all angel stories. You would have to believe in angels and be into this type of reading to appreciate this magazine.

There is one called life styles that I really like with tips on decorating and re-doing your home or giving it a face lift if you will. You will find tips for all types of homes.

This may get a lot of boos but I still enjoy readers digest with the jokes, stories, coupons and etc. and when done these can be folded back in a fanned out shape, glued together and put a styrofoam ball on for a head and decorate to look like little girls, angels, santa just about anything you can think of so the whole book gets used.

Hope you enjoyed hearing about some of my favorites. I would like to hear about yours also.
