Savioseb has given a good review on their basic fundamental issues including the ticketing, and the accessibility. I agree with it and will not go that route. For context, I went there or Saturday for Iron Man 2....
Lets get the good things about the place first. It has a pretty good ambience, has got all the right food marts in place, the seats recline more than other multiplexes and is plush and comfortable. Additionally the leg space is good for a tall guy like me. But, lets face it.. My primary performance indicators for movies in theatres are not the seating or the food. Its for the theater experience of the movie. I do not think they have a dolby system. The sound didnt have the quality of a PVR. It was loud, but a movie like Iron man needs the surrounding sound system for the effect. That was huge disappointment..
Other thing for me is the air conditioning.. A lot of these guys turn off the AC towards the end of the show and that irritates me to the core. I am a bit sensitive to the ehat, which means I come to know very soon that the place is becoming warm. Fun cinemas also did and it ruined the end of the movie for me..
I would have understood the lack of both the above stuff if I would have been paying 75 - 150 for a movie in a single theater system. But, after paying 250 bucks per ticket, this kind of facilities and crrokedness deserves a good kick to the theater management. they may fold out if they do not mend ways soon enough
So, go to fun cinemas if your most favorite move is running only there or if you didnt get a ticket anywhere else and you have to see it right then..
