How to decide the perfect chimney?

Ø Less than 500m3/hr – Maximum no. of bend 1 and ducting length not more than immidate.


Ø Upto 700 m3/hr – Maximum number of bends 2 and ducting length not more than 6’ or maximum no. of bend 1 and ducting length not more than 8’.


Ø Upto 800 m3/hr – Maximum no. of bends 3 and ducting length not more than 6’ or maximum no. of bend 2 and ducting length not more than 8’ or max. bend 1 and ducting length not more than 11’.


Ø Upto 900m3/hr – Maximum no. of bends 3 and ducting length not more than 10’ or maximum no. of bend 2 and ducting length not more than 12’ or maximum no. of bend 1 and ducting length not more than 14’.


Ø Upto 1000 m3/hr – Maximum no. of bends 3 and ducting length not more than 12’ or maximum no. of bends 2 and ducting length not more than 14’ or maximum no. of bends 1 and ducting length not more than 16’.


Ø Upto 1150m3/hr – Maximum no. of bends 3 and ducting length not more than 14’ or maximum no. of bends 2 and ducting length not more than 16’ or maximum no. of bends 1 and ducting length not more than 18.


All recommendations are based on my past 4 years experience of selling over 1500 Faber  & 600 Elica electric chimneys. Ducting with 4” PVC pipe.
