Hi I am Anand. I am a very proud owner and lover of NOKIA 6600.I would like to share with all the readers of Mouth Shut.com on how cool the NOKIA 6600 really is and this material is meant for beginners too.I have provide a few advices and a few tips on how to improve upon your 6600 and give it its true potential.I wouldnt say that I am a total expert with the 6600 but I have been using it for the past 1 year(its as good as new even now) and I am just sharing my sincere thoughts and ideas.
Like I said I have been using it for the past 1year (14 months to be exact it cost me a lot then!!!). I have dropped it to all kinds of floors, including tarred road from a height of 1mt.I have drenched it in rain water, poured coffee over it.The thing is so damn strong.It works as if it was brand new.I dont how NOKIA manages to make such cool indestructible phones.I honour NOKIA for being the best of the best.
Few Tips to improve performance:
Make louder sound when using the headset:
Go to enhancement settings and change the enhancement in use to ’’LOOP-SET’’ and try on your head set when listening to MP3s. The sound now produced will have the same loudness as of the inbuilt speaker.
Longer battery:
-Keep your brightness at optimum to get longer battery.
-Using blue tooth will eat your battery.
-Use headset when listening to music.The power input for speaker is larger.But
when the enhancement used is a ’’LOOPSET’’, the head set will consume the
same power.
-Dont keep dropping your phone. the battery will keep sliding out of place and is
very bad for the phone.
-Dont keep OFF-ing and ON-ing your phone often.
Shiny Phone:
Applying very small amounts of oil or vaseline on the phone body with a tissue paper and rubbing it well and evenly gives it a shine.But it will slip off your hands if handled carelessly.
Never Laminate the phone:
This is very bad for the phone.As it will retain moisture within the lamination and will cause a temperature rise.
