Actually, the bottle shown above replicates Gillette Shave Foam. That’s why many reviews are given on the foam than on the Gel. Here I am talking about Gillette Shave Gel Normal Cool Wave Concentrated.
I’ve using the 60g pack of Gillette Shave Gel with Gillette 2-in-1 razors. I disliked the shaving foam due to the large amount of wastage in one shave. But I am in total favour of Gillete Shaving Gel Concentrated, Cool Wave.
Shaving is done as usual with the Gel. It is concentrated, that means it gets diluted with water and you have apply just one drop of it. Yes, believe me. Put in one drop of Gillete Gel on your shaving brush and see lots of foam forming, while you scrub it along your beard. While shaving, the razor glides along smoothly. After shaving, your skin gets soft and you get a nice complexion.
I was using Palmolive Shaving cream first. But it got over very soon. Gillete Shaving Gel lasts for more than 2-3 months, if you shave every 3-4 days. I shave on Sundays, so the Gel lasts longer.
The pack is also very attractive in Metallic Blue and Silver colours. But when you squeeze the tube, you feel that the pack is bit empty than expected. And when you hold it on your palms, you feel the tube weighs 20 g out of the 60 g. But then too, I am a regular user of this Gel.
Usually, such products take time to capture market. But this Gel is aimed at the upper-middle and middle class people. Shaving foam was for business class, who don’t want to waste time with shaving brush.
The Shaving Gel also comes in the Artic cool version. It gives a good cool feeling after shaving. In summer, this version is highly recommended.
It may seem expensive, as it worths 2-3 shaving creams of other companies. But it lasts as long as 2-3 other shaving creams!
