I had a prepaid connection of Hathway cable internet and internet was good and fast but sometimes speed got down and had a server problem, But I am not happy with their charges its overpriced on every renewal.
At starting Hathway offer me 512kbps@day/1mbps@night scheme at 1800 INR on 3 months of subscription.
After 3 months, on renewal they increased the charges by 300 at around 2, 117 something and I paid for it. Then after 3 months of next renwal again they increased the charges by 200 INR. Later I changed the scheme which is 1mbps FUP at 2, 300 something, and after 1 week I had a call from hathway and they said plans are changed and router modem will change to 50mbps plan. I said "I don’t want to change my plan" But he said its a compulsory as a company setup a new plan and replace the modem of all who has hathway connection.
Then they replace my modem and my plan switch to 50mbps which I dont want it. But I was happy with 50mbps speed at starting and been use of one month I notice the speed is not as now as a first time I got, And after 3 months I called hathway for renewal of 3 months and I asked for what is charges of 3 months. and the charges are 2, 882 INR OMG! . I asked for downgrade my plan but they said "old plan are not longer available now".
Because of that I terminate the hathway internet . customer service is also not good. Now I am using 2mbps prepaid local internet at 550 INR monthly(1650INR 3month) . and I am very happy with this connection. they are not increasing the charges on every renewal of plan. and speed is also very nice.
