I am living here in Mulund and was really bugged up with the local cable internet service (GNS) provider. There was almost everyday regular dis-connectivity and downtime. Then I went to try hathway and am using it for last 5 months and it’s excellent. I too the silver home 8-8 plan which works from 8pm to 8am and 24 hours on sunday, which suites my timing as whole day I am on work and thats the time when I get to hook on to net. The cost is also worth paying Rs. 540/-(including 8% tax) for 64 kbps and a hefty 3GB downloading almost unlimited per month and even upstream is totally free. The initial cost is quiet high but its worth paying for Cable modem. When I purchased it was 6, 750/- but in this month when one of my friend in my society took the connection it costed him Rs. 3333/- that means more than 3000/- wave off on the modem. The last time when I had breakdown I hardly remember but in these 5 month I had 2 times breakdown and that too for 15 mins coz of some technical fault in the tata fibre as said by them. They are prompt on service. If you have hathway in your locality check them out.. they are excellent.
