I have been using Hathway internet for last 4 years decent and cheap it was in the past , recently some way the ISP has gone poor in service. I have complained for 30 times in last 7 days March 15th onwards they are not able to resolve the disconnection problem.
IN A DAY HATHWAY IS ONLINE FOR 10 to 15 MINUTES
CAble led goes down all the time and i have to pay heavily to my cellphone provider
for a pathetic GPRS even after paying hathway 600Rs for a poor 600kbps line
THERE IS A HORRIBLE WEB LOGIN THAT LOGS OUT EVERY 3 HOUR OR SO YOU GET BROKEN DOWNLOADS
THEY FORCE YOU TO LOGOUT EVEN WHEN YOU ARE USING NET!!!!
EVERY THEY THEY HAVE LOGOUT 10.50AM AND 4.00PM , ......
Other bad tricks they have been playing are
1.slow DNS: they slow the dns and everytime websites take 30sec-1 min so that people
dont use net for long
2.pingtimes are very high...again slow loading
3.They are throttling VIDEO STREAMS ,
video streams with RTSP protocol are slowed to20Kbps
I have tested , while torrents run at 60kbps
4.specially on sundays one youtube video of 4 min wil buffer for 20min (HEH ! 600Kbps ha ?
IN india HATHWAY is making MURGA of people)
Thinking I would pay 900 and get Act like connection ........ beware
