I would like to share my real bad experice with HDFC Bank.
My employer asked me to open an HDFC bank account forsalary purpose and I did. I rememeber it very well that I had asked for Master Card Debit card. I get a Gold Debit card whcih attracted a fees of Rs 554 PA including taxes, but I dind’t ask for it. I had to make several calls to their customer care. None of those !@#$%^& issued me a ticket so I had to repaet the same story over and over again as every time there is new Customer Care Executive. Can you belive that I spoke to them for more then 40 days on this and what was the outcome of it. They gave me the bank branch number. Well I spoke to the concerned person (HDFC Bank had a particulaer employee to handle any person from my employer). You know what that person said. He said he could see that I marked for Gold Debit Card... I really felt WTF... anyone reading just can’t imagine my frustration. They had columns for which type of card you want... Standard or Internation adn Payment processor... Visa or Master. No ther column. well.. I disputed with his for same. He was so confident taht he offered me sending a xeroxed copy of the application form. I said yes to him. When the form came to me I could see that employee willfully lied to me. I called him again but this time he immediately handed over the phone to branch manager and he tried to cool me..... It took more then 4 motnhs for the reversal of chnrges
One thing I can say about the whole eposode.. HDFC Bank willfully sent me pre-approved gold debit card. and harassed me.. The customer care gave me branch number only when I threatened to compaine to RBI... this is not the first time I have faced bad experice with HDFC. Their services suck big time. I had very bad experice with my earlier account of HDFC bank too.
