I am a Formula Maruti National Championship race driver. I bought HH Karizma because there was no other sports bike in the market then (even Now) except Bajaj Pulsars, which were & are everywhere. My family also owns a Kawasaki Bajaj 4S, HH Street, Kinetic Honda & a not in use Luna besides a Hero ranger Bicycle.
The most nice point is extra CCs in the engine, that gives your bike good stamina for very long rides and there is always some reserve power left even when cruising at high speeds. Besides when the bike gets going, you will be surprised as it does not seem to weigh 150 kgs.
The handling combined with broad tyres is very well and one never needs to touch down even at low speeds. The headlight beam is the best Ive seen on any Indian bike. The brakes are very good to haul the bike to stop within seconds. There are almost no mechanical/engine vibrations, so u ride very comfortably.
The bike gives me around 35 Kmpl in town ever since Ive bought it. I think its quite good for the engine size, performance & weight of the bike.I would also like to praise the Amaron battery of the bike, which till date, I have not changed & it easily cranks the engine. A point to note though: I always kick start my bike when the bike is cold or first time in the morning.
There are some recurring problems with the bike though:
Ive changed the cam chain tensioner twice (might be unique), which costs around Rs.1600/-.
Plastic screw mounts fail and some parts vibrate on idle to low speeds. (P.S. A local painter fixed the broken mounts for Rs.50/- only.)
Besides this, the bike has remained trouble free & never given me any more problems.Even after so many years the bikes a great head turner. It gives me more smiles per mile even today.
