I bought a hanging light for my dining table in March-2014, I liked the product on the website and I bought, I received the product in time.I opened the box, just checked if product is the same what I ordered and if there is no breakage, everything was fine. I DID NOT install the product because at that time some work was going on in my house.
Now by this time in June, house work and summer vacations are over so I went ahead to install the product, I called the electrician for it.When he saw the product, he mentioned a problem in the product which I also agreed, product is so heavy for hanging, there is no support chain or iron wire provided for the product to hang. There is no mention that we have to provide these material from our side. So there is a flaw in the product, it can not be installed the way it is shown on the website. Normally these kind of heavy electrical fittings(hanging ones) need to be hanged with a GI wire or iron chain. In this product all the weight is coming on the electrical wires.
Yes, I am aware that I am complaining this after 3 months. But as a consumer I am right on my place because I am not able to use this product due to wrong design. when we order products from the website, we order with full trust. when I called customer care, they are so adamant that they can not do anything since I called them late( which I already know). Product is unused in these 3 months, its just a case when I tried to use the product after 3 months of purchase and I don’t see any problem in that, because no one can force me to use the product immediately after purchase. So Please help me here, I want a replacement or you send some person to install it with all the strength it needs. You can imagine what can happen if this product falls after some days on the glass dining table.
I have full confidence on your website and I am very active on line purchaser with so many other sites, so I know it very well how I get my satisfaction after purchase.I can not simply sit idle after spending 3K and not able to use the product. They should have mentioned the weight of the product on their website.
