Two months ago, I bought a Honda City 1.3 at Chennai. The presales was excellent, with Sundaram Motors as the sole dealer in Chennai. Now that I have been using it for some time, there are some good and some not so good things.
Firstly, do not be misled by the false claims on fuel efficiency. In city it has never crossed 9 kms to the liter. Further, when they take so much money, the music system is terrible.
The good things are also worth mentioning. The airconditioning is good. Very importantly, the spares are reasonably priced. My front windshield got busted due to a tree fall. Replacement was under 9K, including labour and cost of so called accessories. I understand, that if it were a Lancer or Ford, the damages would have been much higher.
The service by the dealer is excellent.
