HP is one of the brands I trust when it comes to purchasing laptops, desktops printers, tablets etc. I’ve used a variety of HP products over past five years and I’ve always been impressed with the durability and premium quality of their products. So when I was planning to get a new printer for home purpose, HP was obviously my first choice. After checking out the product features and technical specifications on their website and also after reading through a number of reviews from HP customers, I decided to get **HP DESKJET INK ADVANTAGE 1515 ALL-IN-ONE PRINTER** through Amazon during last Christmas.
Here in this review I’m going to list some of the major highlights and features of this product.
i)It’s a multi-function printer that lets you **print, scan and photo copy** documents in black and white or full colour.
ii)The printer is **compatible with all Operating Systems** such as Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Mac etc. It works fine with both 32 bit OS as well as 62 bit OS.
iii) Looks **elegant**, **compact** in size and made of **scratch resistant** plastic material.
iv)It’s **energy star qualified** but it does not slow down the printing operation which is another plus point.
v)The printer is quite **easy to set up and operate**. However, the installation CD given along with this printer was for 1510 but I didn’t face any problems during installation maybe because after-all it belonged to the same series.
vi)**Print quality is really good** for normal or home use.
vii)Very **cheap and economically priced** taking into account the fact that the cartridges last for a really long time. I’ve already printed around 250 pages and still there is almost 50% ink left.
viii)Silent operation – makes **very less noise** compared to other printers.
ix)Got a **cartridge absolutely free of cost** with this printer.
The only downside to this printer is that it **does not have e-printing capability**.
All-in-all, I’m extremely satisfied with the performance of this all-in-one printer from HP after using it for nearly two months now. I’d suggest anyone to go for this printer if you are looking for a budget friendly printer(low cartridge cost) that offers amazing quality prints/scans for this price range.
