Absolutely pathetic customer support

I wanted to buy an Amazon Kindle Touch which Amazon is not shipping to India and this website (IndiaPlaza.com) offered a competitive price and a 15 day delivery assurance. After about a week I got a mail with my shipment number and the name of the delivery partner but the delivery partner either did not have a website or they did not exist!


So I call them up and ask about the proper details . They assure me that they will send me the details by the and of the day, but it will take 15 days more than what was promised at first. I never got any mail with the details but got my product within two days of calling(through cart2india which was different from what was mailed to me earlier). So far so good. now the real trouble began.


I found that the bill was in two parts - an "invoice" part and a "services receipt" part.The Invoice part was in my name but the other part was in someone else’s name. So I call up cart2india for a proper bill but they told me to call up IndiaPlaza.


I called up and before I could explain my problem the customer care guy very politely assured that I will get my device within 15 days, but I had already it two days back! The customer care guys simply don’t know what goes on and lie as they are instructed.


Since then I have called them up at least 7 times in 20 days for a proper bill but every time they say that the issue will be solved within two days. They have never called me up or sent me a mail even though they promised to do so.It has been a month since I registered a complaint and it is not solved yet.


I strongly suggest everyone to avoid IndiaPlaza.

Dear Customer,Our apologies for the inconvenience you had to face with us.The bill is issued in 2 parts as it comes with a 1 year Manufacturer/Vendor warranty.Any software issues, you can directly contact Amazon customer support and get it cleared. Or get assistance from Vendor. In case of any hardware issues, you should be sending the product to the vendor and the vendor then takes it further to Amazon.
