Update - Although Indiaplaza provided a response on Feb 28th itself that this particular order will either be processed or handled within 2 days, nothing has been done until now(9th March). Fraudster Ramki and his/her group wait and provide prompt response waiting for any unfavourable review, so that an outsider will think that India plaza is serious enough but the reality is just the opposite.They are there to gobble up your money and the more we stay away from this site, the better.Whatever little time this people have left, uses in writing false reviews praising the site so that they get the chance to cheat new customtakeouters.
I placed a order - no being: I07021200748 on 7-Feb-2012
The items in the order - Home and You 4 Pcs. Tea, Coffee, Sugar & Biscuits Canister Set(Black) -
is shown to be Shipped on 11-Feb-2012(consignment number 205381408-On-Dot) .
However the consignment till date has not reached me. What I can understand is that this particular courier service(on dot) is a virtual entity and does not physchandru021y exist(at least in Kolkata) .The reason behind this belief is that the two phone nos provided in their site(033-40076189/32011227) are invalid.
I also raised 2 tickets(CNT2202120095 and PH2402120191) and oddly enough, the solution provided by some Ramky from customtakeouter service to contact these above mentioned two nos, which in reality do not exist.Seemed to be more interested in providing a useless solution
Pissed off, I made 2 STD calls to the customtakeouter help desk and each time I was promised that some of their managers will contact me within 24 hrs which never happened. Also the customtakeouter support told me that the goods have been returned but the status in the courier site tells otherwise.
This a clear cut case of fraud and deceit and false information being provided at every step.My suggestion to friends is to stay clear of this site and to use eBay/flip-kart which are much more reliable.
Also I am thinking about lodging a consumer complaint but is not aware of how to go about it. I will be very grateful if anyone can provide some suggestion. My email id is tapash.bose@in.ibm.com
